Had to go in the passenger side as it was facing east and somewhat thawed because of the sun. Once I got inside I realized how bad the seals are in my car because there was ice frosted all accrossed the inside of my windshield and on my friggin shift knob. DelSolSweetie Posted December 24, 2008 Share Posted December 24, 2008 so i just tried picking up the random dog i saw walking down the road.. i think it was a german shepperd and i think its sad he has no home on christmas eve eve so i was going to put him in my bfs backyard and take him to the spca tomorrow but he wouldnt come to my car :( and idk if he was flea ridden/mean/rabies filled/etc... but i dont think of things like that right away i work a double at work tomorrow... wooo (<---sarcasm) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Fire Police man let me know it was going to be about a 30 minute wait (ended up only being 10). Kegger Posted December 25, 2008 Share Posted December 25, 2008 I got stuck driving through snow/freezing rain/sleet/rain mix from WI all the way through IL yesterday, last night and most of this morning. Not to mention the inch of ice on the interstate. And when I got to KY, monsoon like rain and gale force winds. So what should have been a simple 11 hour drive, turned into 18 hours of hell. I haven't slept in 38 hours, I'm hopped up on nicotine and caffeine, and I'm supposed to have dinner with my GF's family in an hour. I look like I've been hit by a car, picked at by vultures, then scooped back together again. I feel like one big cramp, I can't see straight, but for some reason I can think and type coherently. sup Posted December 26, 2008 Share Posted December 26, 2008 Okay. So on Sunday and Monday the temperature never got above 0, windchills of -40 and all that. Tuesday we got pounded with a foot of snow. Wednesday and Thursday all of it started melting leaving us with a flash flood watch. Now we're supposed to have a high of 59 tomorrow.
