SolLesHonda
Haha, I am. I am going to get the tires. I have tossed it up two hundred times today. In the other thread I state that I will do rims later. I like my car. Better yet, love the way it looks. Just think rims will eventually help finish it. CleanGSR
Well, my future plans are for the car's home rather than the car (my garage). List of what I've done so far (since last september): Built a 4'x8' 2 level workbench with an 8 foot shelf above it. Hung insulation through entire garage Installed craftsman garage door opener Rewired all electrical in the garage Installed water faucet in front of garage for washing the car Installed 5 speaker stereo w/ sub in the garage (will be custom installed when drywall is done. Next on the list (in order) Pull out everything in garage and epoxy/paint the entire floor Move workbench to back wall and finish that wall with pegboard/drywall Install shelves on another wall Drywall the rest of the garage, (first attempt at mud and taping) Wood Trimming around the garage floor/wall This has been the focus of my attention more than my car lately. I like having a nice place to detail and work on the car.
90IntegraC1
your garage is gonna be soooo sweet when your done. my friend has a 3 car garage w/ snap-on 5x4 tool box and 100's of other tools. also 3 jacks, 6 jack stands, and every imaginable detailing item. it's awesome, and his step dad built a '69 vette from scratch using junk yard parts, so if we have any problems, he's the man to go to. CleanGSR
Yeah, I'm pretty excited about it. It's come a really long way so far. Next weekend I'll probably do the floor and relocate the workbench, and build the new shelves. Also have a 5 foot florescent light to hang above the workbench once it's moved. sohcVTEC-E
Everyones plans sound good but who here does their own work on their cars? Having a sweet 11 second car is awesome but if someone else built it for you... thats kinda gay.

mountaindewguy
i'll be the first to admit that i'm not 100% at cars. but for example, when i put my block back together, i'm having one of my cousins friends do it, but i'm gonna be there to help and he's gonna show me exactly how to do everything. so i mean im not just buying the engine build, or anything, but for the technical stuff i'm gonna get help with doing it. but crap like putting an exhaust, intake manifold, header, putting the head on, etc... will be easy and not a problem.
