  1. Lol... sorry I don't get parts in and rush to take pictures. I don't live on a forum anymore. I have a career, school, a girfriend, etc. Get off my ass. If ya'll ever have a meet I'll be glad to show up with all my crapt on my car and then if you don't believe me, fine. But please, don't act cool on a board by assuming I'm lying just because I don't rush out to take pics... whatever guys. There are like three people on this forum who actually know something .... I think it's so funny that every single thread I read is about license plate frames and stuff that is a waste of bandwidth. And Nancy --- lol. Advan RG's are baller? Right. They are cheap and easily found anywhere online. But yeah, baller. And you can have a QR on the Non SRS steering wheel .... there is an adapter made for it... I'll try and find it.
  2. That poor, poor, poor sol. Baby blue and white interior and fire extinguishers lol.
  3. Yikes to most cars in this thread. Especially the sol above on 19's and stock suspension + altezzas.
  4. CP. With SC's, you can run semi-high compression. They love it.
  5. How is it going to cost 7K less? What kinda crazy B20 were you building?
  6. "Building" and going SC isn't going to change power by much. If you want SC, go with a higher compression -- around 10.5:1 -- with a JRSC, and LHT SC Intercooler. Change the crank pulley with a B20 pulley and you'll make about 10 - 11 psi and about 220 - 250 whp if tuned right and have a great fuel management system. Turbo'd and built? Ha, possibilities are endless. The highest WHP D16 turbo I have seen is Rota92 on HT and TurboD16. It is fully built, B series trans, all out drag car -- 4 inch piping and top mount ram horn, with a GT35RS or something crazy making over 600whp.
  7. I can't believe I read this entire thread. Ebay turbo's can be fine, but I would never get one. The manifolds need bracing, and they are very restrictive, leading to way less power. Next, I love how you said fully built, with turbo and valvetrain components. If you knew anything about building a motor for turbo, you know with D16Z6's it's not necessary to build the head unless you plan on taking it beyond 8K or so. There are tons of guys who boost 30 pounds with Eagle Rods and CP pistons and stock head all day, making 400+whp. Valvetrain parts aren't nearly as necessary as bottom end. If you wanna be a cheap bastard, get Suzuki Vitara pistons, Integra LS Rods, and ACL bearings with ARP rod bolts ... which totals out to about $500-$600. That will be good enough for a 300 - 350 whp setup. I have seen people break 400 with that setup. If you really wanna know some stuff about turbos, just ask. Stop making these lists that suck assss. Let me know what you wanna know and let me know when you're serious about buying. Read and know about things before you buy them, or else you'll be another one of those damn guys blowing your motor all of the time.
  8. I'm mad most of the regs like Nate and EH6 don't wanna meet me, I guess I pissed everyone off.
  9. I wanted an underbrace but I am afraid of scraping the crap out of it everywhere.
  10. The new Evo looks like a Dodge model car this year.
  11. With a Greddy turbo kit you don't need any of those internals lol, seeing as how the Greddy kit sucks.
  12. Just got the car back after the last coat of clear. It looks mad glossy and I can't really tell seeing as how dark it is here.... Will update tomorrow.
  13. I don't know the exact name of the paint, but it is a similar color to CBP, BUT, it is BASF paint which is FTW. Anyway, the car is similar to CBP, but with blues (like some other colors -- silver, red, etc) the more clear on it makes it darker. Think about it like a pool -- if there is less water it doesn't look as dark as it would if there were more of the same water in that same pool. We wound up spraying the entire car again, and we are giving it one more coat of clear to shine it up lots more tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM! Why do you ask busted?
  14. The aux lights are on www.jdmland.com for $279.99. I can't wait to actually get some pics with a camera lol. Then it will be purdy. The paint is unreal.
  15. A few more from the good old 2.0 Megapixel phone camera.... Front of the car Lip/Bumper shot EDM Aux lights and realigned bumper The Ameripol, just cause.
  16. Since I don't personally own a camera, I can post a pic from my cell phone that I took when the sol was outside in the parking lot. The way the pic turned out on my phone it looks like the sol is two different colors, lol, anyway here is one lousy pic. Here is the sol without the fenders on. The sidemarkers didn't work and I don't want to be one of the guys that drives around with non functional sidemarkers, so here goes it. New wheels almost done, and REAL camera pics so you can see how nice the paint is shortly. I will get one of the guys I work with to shoot the car. The paint in person looks amazing.
  17. Why? And if you think $400 is expensive, you haven't seen some of the real expensive JDM stuff. The fogs themselves sell for $400 and that's cheap! I know a guy from www.jdmland.com who was able to hook me up, but I know people who have spend upwards of thousands for some JDM bumper or things along those lines.
  18. There was some rust bubbling up underneath the paint right below the H emblem of the trunk. The S2K projectors are in my parent's garage. I don't know how to do it, I tried. I know how to put them in, kinda, but don't know how to wire them. If someone wants them I'll sell them. It's not a huge deal to me at this stage. I got the bumper from www.jdmland.com
  19. No side reflectors and some of them have the lower fogs. Mine doesn't have the lower fogs cut out, but if you look behind the bumper, it shows exactly where to cut if you wanted to have them. Also, I am not sure why, but it fits way way better than my OEM bumper.
  20. Lol, I was hoping there were some volunteers to come here and take some pics. My pics always = teh suxorz. Lol. I used to think a lot of JDM stuff was lame, and still do on some stuff, but I really liked the EG2 front bumper and the aux lights look much better being they are glass instead of faded plastic. The EM1 lip is OEM and is one of the only lips that fit the sol without looking like crap. I would take pics from my phone but the damn thing is frozen and locked up. Now I have to go to Verizon to get a new one. On a side note, don't get the new Q from Verizon. It is FTL. I also got some interior stuff..... OEM Type R non SRS Steering wheel, quick release, and other little misc things like map lights and mugen pedals and stuff.
  21. So the car's exterior is pretty much finished. I know I haven't been on the forum much, but eh, got lots going on. After the accident I got a lot of new exterior mods. Exterior: JDM EG2 Front Bumper (no reflectors) JDM/EDM Auxiliary lights Painted the corners amber again Buffed the original 1 piece headlights --- ditched the JDM 1 piecers, liked the amber more EM1 Front lip -- paint matched New OEM hood New OEM windshield JDM fenders with sidemarkers Basically realigned the bumpers, took care of all rust, and recleared the car twice for extra gloss and deeper color. Had a set of Mugen NR mirror finish wheels, but they were too bright for my blue car IMO. I just got a set of 16x7 Advan RG's in silver, but am currently sanding them down to have them powdercoated hyper black. Pics very soon to come. Any volunteers?
  22. I'd love 14x8 or 15x8 for the sol, but I am not sure about fitment issues.
  23. The thing fits in nicely, just does not have the bottom dips that the sol cluster has on the left and right.
