Yeah? I've checked a few of the websites I've scene people "advertise" around here and they don't carry the less performance inspired z6. Mostly b's, and H's.

Few things I liked about that website was the 6-month warranty and guaranteed 20-60 miles or less.

Oh alright yeah I've been on the local search. Columbus "junk" scene isn't to great not going to lie. Found a few candidates but from the looks of it I wouldn't be to much better off TBH.

i saw a b18b1 over at edison automotive just the other day. wasn't leaking oil and car was hit in the rear. didn't check to see if it would run though as I personally wasn't that interested.

I like the B16 for a swap, and you can find plenty on ebay ready to swap for around $1500. There is plenty of online info on the B16 swap for these, and it can be done in a weekend easily. I am not far from you....who is doing your swap?

Well its a trio ordeal between my grandpa, father and myself. Reason i was going to do the z6 was for simplicity, no modifications really needed, etc.

Yea, good job dude. You might be able to find some stuff cheaper on other sites. innerauto.com is a good one and i have a couple coupon codes if you want them.

You should put the list in your first post.

list looks pretty good, but like wBs said, there are some cheaper prices out there. i got my brembo rotors for $50 each on ebay.

also if youre looking i have some brembo brake pads that i think will fit your car

Everyone always goes for DOHC... D series are cheaper parts and have the same potential a B series motor has. No one ever thinks that way though.. just because its a single cam. I've seen single cams make 1,200 HP and run 9's. I'm a single cam lover I guess...

Alright updated the first post a little bit. And I'll definitly look into your website I was reading your build a little at work today looked like you where finding some good deals.

Also any other sites people recommend? Cause this is my first time so I'd wouldn't mind any referrals.

Yeah I'll definitly be looking into some cheaper options. But even looking at the list right now I was surprised in the overall cost isn't looking to be to bad, least not out of reach.

Wow good stuff isn't it? I doubt I'll be running anything near 1,200HP but I'm more than confident my little engine that CAN will be good enough for now.

they were. i thought that's what you had, but it must have been someone else who posted about them.

i was the one with the brembo blanks. running four of them on the sedan right now. with pads and shipping it was $120 to my door if I remember correctly.

one good way to find cheaper prices is to haggle with the vendors on HT. They usually have better prices then their webstores and you can almost always talk them into price matching other vendors, ebay and webstores.

Sparco FLoor Mats $65 - http://www.velocityfactor.net/wwwroot/Scri...?idproduct=3248

NRG Hood Damper Kit $119 http://www.intakeone.com/Denso/NRGhoopdamper.htm

Added these to my list. To replace my ragged old Sol mats, and my hoods been damaged and when the normal hood prop holds it up it bends. I'll probably buy a new hood eventually, but this will work well for now to stop it from bending, and will add a nice touch for overall showmanship of my engine once its "done".

If there is ever such a thing as done lol.

As for actcually getting the car running Im looking to be picking up a z6 from a friend out of his 95 civic he had swapped out. Supposivly about 80k miles which isnt to bad for dirt cheap. If that doesnt pan out Im just going to suck it up and order my JDM z6 next week so I can hopefully get it running by mid-end June as planned.

Yeah when it comes down to actually spending the penny's I'll look for better deals. But thats what I've sourced out so far. Every time I go back looking to update my list I find other things on my list cheaper. Example I shaved off almost $100 off my previous header price.

I'll also be checking out a few shops locally to see if they can get my parts in any cheaper. I know my friend got his sports header/intake from Jegs actcually for his RSX for less than half the original cost. SO yeah.
