..SSR..
This is a turbokit by ultimate-Racing. Everything stock except for what the kit replaces. No exhaust or anything. 7psi. Turn the volume up.... Vrooom

PROFILES2000
sounds good but i liked the 294 hp better. i wonder how much boost he was running. and how long it will run for.
..SSR..
It was running at the max setting for the kit 7psi. I personnally think the kit sucks. I mean you pay $5,000 just for 84 horsepower?
S14Silvia
you pay 5k for 84 hp and the potential for alot more...

I mean you pay $5,000 just for 84 horsepower? i guess thats a lot of money but what exactly does the kit come with? yeah the kit is a little expensive. i guess maybe they tuned it conservativly. 84 hp isnt thaat bad of an increase though. but normally for 11-1 compression 7 psi is a lot of pressure. do well see what they do in the future
..SSR..
The S2000's cr is 12.0:1. They rworked the fuel system a little, tuned the chip, and tuned the car. The kit is set to its max, you turn it up more than 1-2 psi and your engine will go boom. I do not see much potential out of this kit.
WRX Driver03
It may not sound to impressive but better than any supercharger that is out for the S2000.
S14Silvia
potential comes after you build the engine, if you arent planning on building the engine then yeah 84hp for 5k is what you get.
..SSR..
I will be getting an estimated 310+hp for around $25,000. Damn, 5 abgle valve jobs are expensive, but worth the torque you gain, and the S2000 needs torque.
WRX Driver03
That is the weak point of the car if it has any, the torque.
S14Silvia
weak spot of any honda is the torque numbers
WRX Driver03
You would figure though with those high compression numbers they would yield a little more torque?
S14Silvia
small displacement though... torque comes from the displacement... or f/i whichever haha
WRX Driver03
Well with my 2.0 motor I am putting down over 200 lbs/ft of torque and 2.0 is not large by any means. I don't know why that is so care to explain?
WRX Driver03
I guess a turbo doesn't hurt either.
..SSR..
WRX's get the torque from the turbo. Once I get my deuce turbo'd and 5avj, it will have enough torque to feed north Korea when 1/3 of their country is starving........uh......nevermind. ..SSR..
How is it hard to get power out of it if you have the money?
WRX Driver03
I'm sure it is still gonna be a headache regardless of the cash, not to many peeps have done it. So not to much info to compare against and people to ask.
S14Silvia
n/a its super hard to get more hp out of it. turbo, like the way you are goin, shouldnt be too hard, but dont expect too much.
PROFILES2000
turbo is prolly the best and easiest way to get HP out of the s2k. if i were to get an s2k i would hook it up more towards suspension for a road racing car, than a turbocharged drag car. i would say if you really have the money get the s2k and then get a civic or something and use the civic as a race car or what ever and then use the s2k as a daily driver
..SSR..
I have the money. I am building the S2000 because no one let alone a 16 yearold has an S2000 with more than 400whp or 11 second timeslips (maybe even 10's). BTW, I am going to build an Integra after I get this accord and sell it.
