Exclusive Honda Girl
hey...i'm un-happy about the ride height @ the moment...would like to lower it a little, plus i need to install my Eibach camber kit. will i need a re-alignment when i'm finished?? just had one done 2 weeks ago when i put the coils in >_<
CleanGSR
It's always a good idea to do an alignment with a height change but with a moderate change you should be okay without it. How much lower are you going?

How much lower are you going? it's sitting a little jacked in the front right now...would like to come down about "1/2 in the rear="1 in the front-- so that it sits perfectly even( the '01's tend to sit ass heavy) and i want to up the damper to about 10-11...it's sitting @ 8 now-- while the wheels are off anyway. will i have to do it all over again when the summer's go on?? lol
CleanGSR
You should be okay for that small of a change. When you get the ride height set where you want and are sure that's where you want to leave it, I'd take it in for a final alignment to even everything up. SolLesHonda
That's good advice, I'd go with what he said. I had my car aligned once. If I had coilovers, I'd set it, and leave it.

SolLesHonda
You don't want bouncy. Why do you like bouncy ?
CleanGSR
I don't know much about the dampers and stuff on your setup. If it was mine, I'd just play with the settings until I was happy with the blend of comfort and handling. I'm with you though, I would go more for the handling but wouldn't want to be completely beat to death by the ride.

Batman
We just put coilovers on my 94 DX (dont really know why) and that thing hit the ground. Talk about handleing the damn tires hit the fenders when you turn the wheel.

I've been looking at OmniPowers because they have a lot of different settings and are relatively cheap.

CleanGSR
Around 700-800. That's why I'm leaning toward the Omni's. Doesn't have quite as many options, but still plenty and since I don't compete with my car, they should work good enough for me.
xxscaxx
700-800 US. an alignment could never hurt. batman - um... raise your car up. bouncy sucks...my del sol was insane. if you hit a big bump your ass came off the seat. save the bouncing for better things and concentrate on handling. other than me wanting exhaust Tanabe springs are a close second.
