athletic_goofydriver
what would be better a single or dual exaust pipe for the s2k and would it be cheaper also what are the price ranges and websites for the spoon company
SolLesHonda
i'd vote dual for the s2k
CleanGSR
I think it would look stupid to have a single exhaust coming out with 2 cutouts for exhaust......so go dual.
SolLesHonda
thats like the guys who buy huge rice rear bumpers for their civics with two exhaust cut outs and have single exhaust ...and anyway .. dual exhaust on a civic is just plain stupid
xxscaxx
+1. i hate that sh*t. S2000's come with dual exhaust so why change it to single? plus like all of the aftermarket exhausts for s2000's come dual. it looks badass.
CleanGSR
Well, not all. The Veilside catback for S2000 is a single all the way back.
SolLesHonda
true, but go dual anyway
blackdelsol
i think its lighter too
CleanGSR
If you're talking about the veilside exhaust then yes, it's all titanium and very lightweight.
SolLesHonda
and comes with a hefty price tag as well ... but with all piping only weighs 6 - 10 lbs ... that's nuts, see for yourself Veilside Exhaust
CleanGSR
Ah, that's not a bad price considering what you're getting. My dad wanted to get the Veilside exhaust for his because he's got the authentic Veilside body kit for his S2000. (no flaming please) Only problem is the back bumper of the Veilside kit has dual cutouts but the Veilside exhaust is a single outlet.....just stupid IMO. SolLesHonda
yeah ... i just hate how much of a price difference there is when you buy something for an S2K compared to a civic/del sol makes you want to keep your civic/del sol
CleanGSR
No arguing with that. Everything is more expensive for the S2000 probably because so much R&D has to go into aftermarket products to increase performance on an already incredibly tuned car. SolLesHonda
+1 ... thats just like the type R ... i didn't know that when you put something aftermarket on, you risk losing HP ... i thought that was crazy ... the ITR header is a good header .... there is a nice sol on cardomain that is clean and has the ITR header on his B16 sol and loves it ... Clean Sol
xxscaxx
haha thats why i said "like all of the aftermarket exhausts," meaning most of them. i think dual looks so badass.
SolLesHonda
i think dual looks so badass. +1, definitley
Humphries
dual is fine.. i think the stock s2k sounds fine.. you wont get much hp out of it even if you do get exhaust.
SolLesHonda
i disagree, get an exhaust, sounds a lot throatier and it will have a deep rumble at idle granted you get the veilside or a nice exhaust
CleanGSR
My dad's Skunk 2 exhaust sounds awesome. Loud, but awesome.
Humphries
i wouldnt frown at it if you did get an exhaust but the only thing i would be worried about if i got a s2k is all suspension.
