Last night my dad told me if i wanted to change the water pump on the company van i said yeah. Well heres the deal he also said that i should charge the company for labor theres only one problem i never actually charged for labor before so i got no idea how much to charge. The van is a 92 Ford Club Wagon all i did was replace the water pump how much should i charge.

See if you can find out what the "shop manual" says the required ammount of time is. You charge for that, reguardless of how short/long it actually took you.

Ex. buddy of mine put a tranny in a TSX in about 2 hrs. Book called for something like 12 hrs.. they charged for 12hrs.

you COULD charge like a shop does but idk if your ase certified and all that so i wouldnt try charging as much as a regular shop

if it was easy i would just add like another $30-40 bucks on

if it was a pain in the ass think about it a little more
