For those who weren't here for last year's awards, this is how it goes down: After the categories are selected, a nominations thread will be posted. In the nominations thread(s), you will be asked to list 3-5 members who you feel could be potential winners in each category (or the categories you choose to supply nominations for). Should you want to keep your nominations anonymous, you may PM them to me and I'll account for them when it comes time to create the polls. The 3-5 members who receive the most nominations will be in the running. About 1-2 weeks after the nominations thread(s), polls will be created for each category. Each poll will have 3-5 choices for you to vote on for the 2008 award winner. Polls will remain open for another 1-2 weeks (most likely 2 so those who aren't as active may still have a chance to vote, and seeing how it's the holiday season people will be busy), at which point the winners will be officially announced. To keep the peace, it's encouraged that you do not announce who/what you're voting for in each category (thus the 3-5 nominations per category).
