TS John
That's a good deal on that tranny. Looks like your own trans couldn't have started crappin' out at a better time, SolLes.

Pyrorocketeer
Why don't you just fix it now? Instead of buying a new one?

SolLesHonda
Awesome. Can't wait man. How much you guys think I could sell the DX tranny with new bearings for?
Blown330
Check the pressure plate. A bent finger on the pressure plate would give the exact same symptoms. Has it gotten any worse since the noise started...taking more clutch pedal travel before the noise stops?
Joe W
Awesome. Can't wait man. How much you guys think I could sell the DX tranny with new bearings for? It depends on overall cond. and milage, but I would say between 200-300.

SolLesHonda
Yeah. Either way I am going to buy EH6's trans. I miss my old EX trans. I will sell the other one. ..SSR.., you want it? I know you like buying other trans lol.
..SSR..
Naw. Only good thing out of it is 3rd gear. Not worth it to buy it, ship it, for one gearset.
SolLesHonda
How much you think I could sell it for if I replaced the necessary bearings? Trans has 96,000 on it. $150?

..SSR..
No. It's a long ass trans. Maybe if you sell it to someone who doesn't care. Base it off what you sold your old EX trans for.
Nancy
i thought you already had an ex tranny as you said so in my topic back in the day? Synchros suck. My third always grinded on my stock tranny. I just got a new tranny anyway. I wanted the EX tranny, so what better excuse to buy a new one ? that was almost exactly a year ago. hmmm. i wonder.
