xprm311x
this spring when I put my delsol back on the road, I want to do some suspension work to go with the new wheels. I am hoping to just get rid of most, if not all, of my wheel gap, and hopefully get a bit of a handling boost. I dont wanna spend too much so coilovers are pretty much out of the question, and I dont really know much at all about suspensions. I was looking at the eibach sport kit but not sure how much the drop would be and if it would help my handling much. I'm open to any info and suggestions. thanks guys -Pat
TurboLancer
you could get some nice shocks, and then get some coilover sleeves. Bye bye wheel gap!
ap1drvr
Don't be too cheap with suspension unless you like a crappy ride: http://www.passwordjdm.com/product.asp?num...hFor=&PT_ID=277 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKICO-HP-S...sspagenameZWDVW http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKICO-ILLU...sspagenameZWDVW
CleanGSR
Tein Springs work okay with stock shocks and still give a really good ride quality. Of course they won't handle a ton better without upgrading the shocks, but will get rid of most of your wheel gap. Look at my sig to see what it looks like or go to the link in my sig to see more pictures of the stance.
SolLesHonda
+1 for Tein and Tanabe. Tanabe will be a lot bouncier without upgrading the shocks. For the price, I wish I would have gotten the Omnipower full coilovers.
xprm311x
I'm considering going with the omnipowers now, which rate set is good?
xxscaxx
either go with a full coilover setup or a spring/shock combo. P.M. BigBirdSucks for rate info.
SolLesHonda
For the omnipower ones, I'd get the "street" set they make.
xprm311x
yeah I read their site afterwards and realized the one rate set was labeled street and the other was like track or something, lol.

xalexjx@yahoo.com
if you do that replace the bushings itll make it a lot tighter.
BigBirdSucks
I have the higher performance Omnipower coilovers and absolutely love them. for the price, you just can't beat omnipowers. they handle awesome and are still comfortable.

B16A3 Del Sol
Oh yeah! Tein Pillow Ball Upper Mounts are also really good to go with the Tein Lowering springs(Lowers you to 1.8" in front, and 1.5" back)...and you might need a camber kit also... IMO I'd go with Skunk 2 on the camber kit... like i said before just go to www.inlinefour.com they have everything you need to find on their site... SolLesHonda
Tokico shocks are nice. I have them. Tein springs are good too, closest quaility to stock IMO. I have an omnipower camber kit in the front and ingalls rear camber kit. Cheap and easy. Skunk 2 = crap IMO.
B16A3 Del Sol
I dont know if they make it for a Del Sol but you could buy the HKS Damper Kit it comes with everything you need(coil-overs and shocks) but it has a heafty price tag on it, $2,400 on inlinefour.com
