Okay... Here's a little update! :)

I got my brakes done today!

a little recap! :)

Brembo drilled front and rear rotors

hawk hp+ front and rear pads

russell steel braided lines

super blue racing brake fluid

I think I gotta bleed my brakes again but they're starting to brake in nice and the del sol

stops way better now! i just need to get some wheels to show them off :)

Rear's up top and Fronts on the bottom

Here's my trans from the RX-8 in pieces at the Dealer. Mazda and their killer

warranty is picking up the tab for a complete rebuild because 3rd and 4th gear

synco's went out.

While the tranny is out I'm having them throw in a Mazdaspeed flywheel and

a Stage 2 exedy clutch installed :) they're only charging me 1 hour labor.

I'm pretty stoked about it! almost turbo time for that whip!

And this kid at school practically begged me to trade him hoods. So I gave im

my crappy beat up faded CF hood and he gave me his freshly painted OEM hood

with windshield squirters! :) That made my day. we swapped them in the parking

lot at school lol

I move into my new 5 car garage Nov. 1st. Part of the garage is being built into

a paint room. I'm hoping to have the sol painted by my birthday! 12/15

Colors I'm thinking of...

Audi's Piano Black

Evo 9 Blue

^ aka: Nate's dad. (Was originally Nate's)

I had my Sol painted a custom EBP for years, I started to hate it after a little while. Blue just gets boring.

Why did you trade the CF hood if you were planning on painting anyways? You coulda just painted the CF hood...

if you look thru my pics in this thread, you'll see the hood is in pretty crapty shape. even if i wetsanded and clear coated it or painted it, it was still beat

up and had cracks thru it. the passenger side mounts where the bolts go broke and i had to fab up bolt holes to get that side of the hood secure.

i wouldn't mind a better quality and new CF hood so i can take care of it properly, but a OEM hood in 99% mint condition... with squirters (no squirters on the CF hood) for a even trade for my crapty hood? that's a deal to me!

I just need a trunk now cuz my trunk has too many little dents in it and i don't wanna fix'em

**UPDATE!**

Love the brakes!!! they work great and i don't hear them so that's nice!

I also made a temporary fix and got all the primer off my car so it's all black now.

I installed my front lower left control arm so my caster is back to spec and my

wheel sits center of the wheel well again.

Before:

After:

I took the Si wheels off the hatch and swapped them onto the sol. They look

pretty good on the del sol.

December 5th is my last day of class then i get a month off. So from Dec 6th to Jan 5th. My goal with the del sol

is to do a complete wire tuck and shave the engine bay. paint the engine bay and rebuild and install my B16A.

At this time i'll also be removing my P/S and A/C too :D

5 car Garage FTMFW!!!!! woooot!
