GENERAL BUILD INFORMATION

 

CURRENT 12/14/2007-CURRENT Phantom Gray Pearl 1992 Honda Civic CX hatchback

 

This build is a continuance of my EJ6 build, but due to being totaled by insurance when I hit a deer, it will continue in a new shell. Minor changes will occur due to the chassis change, but the motor work is going to directly transfer over. The vehicle will still be used for a street and strip car; seldomly driven on the street and trailered to the drag strip.

No that's actually pretty fast. About what I'd project mine to be. Probably a hair slower.

 

Even still. fast hatchy. Will be much better in an EH2 if that's what you end up with.

There was a CUmmins Ram up here running 11.6@120+ and a Powerstroke hitting 11.1 with a mad slow 60' time cause of lag..

 

Neither of which I'd care to run. Ever. LOL.

Yeah, they can get damn nasty! Best part is, they just boost brake in four wheel drive, then once they are out of first, put it back in two wheel drive, boosting 50psi!

 

I plan on making the paint a little more custom, same base, but more pearl.

The hood and the spoiler are getting sold, as soon as possible and being replaced. The wheels might get sold or I might slap them on the four door and put on my spare sleeve coilovers. The hatch is getting replaced with an OEM carbon fiber replacement, I am getting a new rear bumper, and I am replacing the front fenders with flared ones. The dash and door panels might be swapped out too, since they are gray, I really want black and all the other panels are coming out anyways.

Picked up the new EH2 tonight, so here is the run down.

 

PROS

It has a banging security system with remote start and power locks.

The guy used to work at an audio shop, it has an awesome looking speaker setup, just no radio at the moment.

Interior is clean.

 

CONS

I only have one key fob.

The interior is gray.

It needs paint.

It has some rust, but likely it is surface.

Not that it matters, but the motor has a bad misfire.

It needs alignment.

The interior locks are broken so I can not manually unlock or lock it inside.

It makes some squeaking noises and some rattling, but when everything is out for paint and the work, it should be found and fixed.
