S.Carter
Whats Good., I got a 93 civic ex w/ d16z6 of course, and just found out I got aleak in the Main seal, there is oil sludge build up in the antifreeze and radiator need new exhaust system seats rear fenders.......... Basicly the car is a p.o.s for now Long story short I already know I'm getting a swap the rest of the stuff i can get with time. I WANT a k20, but dont have he money for it so right now im leaning towards a B20 or another d16 its alotta options but those 2 are what im leaning too WHAT YOU THINK? GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK ASAP
That Guy
want in one hand crap in the other, see which one feels like something. haha jk personally id go B20 with a GSR head and build it from there. or if u go with the Z6 boost it. just my opinion though if you really really want a K20, save up and get it. besides being expensive ive heard they are really easy swaps
sohcVTEC-E
K swaps aren't necessarily easy. There are easier swaps out there. K's require some engine bay modification.
dcletten
if you ultimatly want the k20, i say get another d16, they are cheap enogh, live with that till you have the money for the k swap, then drop the k in it
S.Carter
Sounds like a plan fellas, but yeah the k swap isnt THAT hard I helped drop one in my boys RSX, I know it isnt a civic but still the only real biggie is that it would sit the opposite way of a normal b or c series. The intake would be toward the front and the exhaust near the firewall.

K's require some engine bay modification. every story ive read or people i know who have done it say its easy. of course you need the right supplies but anyways, dcletten's idea is good, get a cheap motor to get yu by for now until u ahve enough money for the k
