2.2L Posted March 26, 2006 Share Posted March 26, 2006 Apex'i vafc is ok if you are only going to be bolt ons and proper tuning isnt really important to you. Even with a stock motor, hp and tq can be gained from tuning with hondata, crome, uberdata, neptune, AEM ems...etc. The h22 ecu's have very conservative timing tables and a good bit of power can be gained just from tuning the timing. Not only that, the factory ecu runs the motor fairly rich, which doesnt help much in the power output department. I tune with crome. It can be a hassle at times being that its a freeware program, but i have learned to just look past that. Eventually i am hoping to run s300 or neptune.
