stickmonster(lol)
I've been tinkering around this forum ever since I got my 1997 Civic EX a few days ago. So when I got home today and saw the prelude in my driveway I nearly cried. Me and my dad had been talking about the Civic's meniscule little D16 and everyone on this forum has been downplaying it so much. So when I found out that he had accidentally won two bids on ebay I nearly shat myself. The Civic is gone, good riddens. It was fun for those few days but I've moved on to bigger and better things. However the lude is an automatic.

stickmonster(lol)
ah you guys are crapting me, you think I should keep the civic instead?
Kastigir
Automatics suck for power. Should've kept the Civic. You can always try and convert it to a manual, I'm sure it's possible just don't know how hard it'll be.
stickmonster(lol)
well there both still mine, it's not that easy to unload a car I've only had it for a few hours now. The civic doesn't seem to have the pickup of the H22 but I guess I'll think it over before I do something drastic. I like them both equally. stickmonster(lol)
you know I would if it were my choice, but I'm gonna keep the civic. My brother might accept the Prelude but I doubt it, if not It's gonna be up for sale again on ebay.
Sleepy_PreLuDe
nothings wrong with the prelude.... its just that if you want speed... the auto isn't your go. You can always convert the auto to a manual =)
stickmonster(lol)
someone said they were crap for handling though, how much would it cost to convert it to a manual, I know that I'd have to buy the new transmission, and redo the interior, but what else. stickmonster(lol)
well my brother is gonna take the prelude now, so we have an accord for sale. I'll be good with the civic and will just tune the hell out of its diminuitive displacement. It's a 5 speed EX so I'll be fine.

royson345
Sell your civic to pay for the auto/manual swap. Good luck finding a shop to do it for you though! Most places won't even touch this kind of job. You'll have to find someone that has doen it before and knows what to do.
