Xeryon
My coworkers 91 Accord Wagon. He was just starting to make a left across traffic and was hit head on 60-70mph by an acura suv. Only injuries were two broken toes and airbag abrasions. Not bad, not bad at all. Doors even still open and close with binding.

Northstar
For a '91 that held up really well! The damage is confined to the forward crumple zones, and there is absolutely no damage or bucking to the A-pillars. When you take into consideration the speed of the collision and the weight of the SUV, this is incredible. Your friend was lucky!
