congrats! that's my favorite color on the fifth gens. unfortunately, it only came 97-98 and with the two-tone interior, so i passed on the ones that i found when i was looking. if you're a member on preludeonline or preludezone, there's a member who does retrofits for ~ $700 plus the headlamps. hopefully, i'll be able to get a set within the next few months.

Nah, im not on either of those, but im on preludepower.com

And i like the 2 tone with the dash and door panel, but i think the seats are too much tan. im going to do black recaros this summer hopefully, and maybe some stock black prelude rears.

Wow, that's a pretty car :D I notice you have the same coldair intake as me..Do you use that oil cleaner?..I've been told it's not good for the carbon mesh in the long run...Mines about due for a cleaning..

i'm sure he's probably on that one as well, can't recall his s/n off-hand though. it seems as though most fifth gen owners get their retrofits from him (those that don't make them themselves at least, which is something i don't care to do lol), good work.

yeah, the eucalyptus interior was just tan overload for me and having the two-tone dash is what really killed it for me because that's one part i didn't care to remove and replace  i think i also only came across one EGP that was manual back when i was searching... then again, 99.9% of what i found was sport-shift regardless of the color lol.

did you at least take your honeycomb grille off the 99 before getting rid of it?

i've been debating coating my emblems in black as well... we'll see what i decide come spring lol.

Holy crap dude....I sure wouldn't want to be your oncoming traffic. You're gonna blind semi's with that...lol.

Edit: Oh, and I love the car by the way. Agree with the others that the color is

Those aren't actually that bright when driving past them. He had my drive one way, while he drove the other to see if it was blinding, and surprisingly it wasn't. Nobody flashed him either.

I'm not talking about the brightness. From the looks of that picture, they are pointed to light the moon.

I also aimed them down, they were aimed uber high in this picture.

These HIDs actually dont have too much glare abov the focus point of the light

Looks a lot better. Why do they look white and not blue? o.O

hopefully they look blue in person, thus why you're asking. otherwise, someone who wants to set people up with hid kits should already know about the different temperatures.

car is very clean and the hid's are nice and glare doesn't seem that bad with them aimed that low, plus your car sits pretty low, not like you are one of those SUV's with HID's that blind people no matter what they do. i like the lower temp HID, the super blue ones look rice to me and you can't see anything with them.

Thanks guys. And yeah they are 8000s

They do look white in that picture, but i took it with my cell phone

The true color lies somewhere between the super blue in the first picture and the pure white in the second

They do look blue in person, they should be. I was just wondering why the one picture was showing up white. o.O Cell phone picture would make sense.

Actually, 8K should lie somewhere between blue and purple.

yeah 8000k is pretty high. i personally preffer not more than 6000k, or 3800k for fog lights

My last set of bulbs were 6500K. I liked them, but unfortunately they melted my headlight connectors.
