greendelsol
hey what is a good shift knob for a 1994 honda del sol s. one that is easy, comfortable, and not so expensice?...preferable not metal cuz it would get cold or hot depending on the weather
TS John
Haha, I was gonna suggest not to get metal since I have one and that exact problem annoys the crap out of me. I'd get a nice CF one personally. Check out MOMO's catalogue.
CRG7
i like the old skunk2 knobs. they're pretty much the same as the old ctr/itr knobs. but, it's an ice cube in the winter.

TS John
Pssh. I got my black leather driving gloves so there ain't no problem whatsoever. Edit: Here's the combo I just picked out for myself once I'm straight ballin': http://www.momousa.com/detail.php?category=11&group=201 http://www.momousa.com/detail.php?category...&product=93 http://www.momousa.com/detail.php?category=5&group=23 That's an easy way to spend about 500 bucks. TS John
You prolly have to go through a US retailer instead of just ordering off the MOMO site. Or go to Italy.

wannaBstuntin
i was going to get the momo cobra shift knob when i was looking, but decided to keep the stock one and add the red velvet shift boot instead wow, why would you spend so much on a shift knob? i'm good with stock
airjordan223
yeah thats why i didnt get it. i couldnt justify spending that much money on something that wouldnt do anything
Velocifero
ive used a bunch of different ones, but i prefer the egg shaped ones the best. it fits nicely in my hand. stock would probably be 2nd place. this one was $35 and comes with the black plastic pieces below the knob. that's on my Forbidden short shifter. Xeryon
I don't have the pic, but my fav was a hardwood sphere on my old cherokee - a little smaller then a pool ball. It was never hot or cold and had great grip if my hands were dry or sweaty. It was perfect and I bought it on eBay for $5.

TS John
It's just nice to have these things -- that's why you spend the money. Those pedals, the steering wheel, and the shift knob I posted are deffo going to be fixtures in my sol when I turn my attention to the interior. My buddy has a MOMO steering wheel and shift knob combo and they just look and feel so nice.

My buddy has a MOMO steering wheel and shift knob combo and they just look and feel so nice. ive been trying to obtain a 94-95 leather steering wheel for a loong time now. that would practically complete my interior :( i also just won this on ebay, im not sure if it's gonna look better or not, but it does look more luxurious. it's the Accord SiR/Accord SE "wood grain" center console $60 baby
James Matteu
Changing the shift knob adds +10hp and takes 30kg of weight off the car. If you use Momo, it adds 20g on the skid pad and shortens stopping distance by 2 meters.

They do get cold, but its worth it for a great shift knob. leather doesn't last.
