mountaindewguy
i already did.... and for the record, EVERYTHING IS OBD2A. (HEAD, BLOCK)CAR is 95 civic, OBD1 ECU, is p28 OBD1 ECU from SOHC harness is OBD1 vtec from SOHC now, what dizzy do i use, thats it and since i'm using the civic harness, do i need the jumper harness ORRRRR if i use a teg harness (obd2) do i just need a jumper harness for the ECU? the way i figure it, i get a b series OBD2 dizzy (OBD2A) and a teg harness, and get a jumper harness. or just use my civic harness and don't use a jumper harness. from here on out, unless you know exactly what you're doing. don't post. cranny, solles, ring in lol. and all answers from here on out are in stupid english lol

cranny
hahaha , for once i totally agree with solles , lol , no matter how much i dont like it. ok easy dude. you need a dizzy from an obd1 integra. or you can do like solles says , get any one and repin or change wiring so each sensor is on its correct wire leading to ecu. simple. your P28 will plug right into your car. ill make an ecu map for ya , just give me a bit. mountaindewguy
ok, lets put it in stupid english. so is my route now: obd1 dohc vtec dizzy p28 ecu chipped, tuned, basmapped and the SOHC harness? will that work? this way i dont need the jumper harness? cranny
sounds good to me. the thing is the cars be it integra or civic , are wired the same , but , obd1 tegs and civics , obd2a tegs and civics , so on. so if you stay obd1 parts , will make your life easier , thats all i was getting at. heres as far as i got in your ecu map , this is for obd1 Si and Dx civics : A01 green , injector 1 A02 yellow , injector 4 A03 red , injector 2 A04 orange/white , VTS(spool solenoid valve , Z1 and Z6 engines) A05 light blue , injector 3 A06 orange/black , HTCNTL(heated oxygen sensor , B7 , Z6 engines) A07 green/yellow , FLR1(main relay) A08 green/yellow , FLR2(main relay) A09 green/white , IACV A10 not used A11 orange/blue , ES(egr control solenoid valve , Z1 engine only) A12 yellow/green , FANC(fan control) A13 green/orange , WARN(check engine light) A14 not used A15 red/blue , ACC(ac compressor clutch relay) A16 white/yellow or pink , ACGC(alternator) A17 ATLSB(A/T solenoid , a/t only) A18 not used A19 ATLSA(A/T solenoid , a/t only) A20 red , PGS(purge cut off solenoid valve) A21 red/green , IGP1(ignitor) A22 red/green , IGP2(ignitor) A23 PG1 A24 PG2(ground/mainrelay) A25 IGP1 A26 LG1 B01 IGP2 B02 LG2 B03 ATD3(D3 indicator , a/t only) B04 ATD4(D4 indicator , a/t only) B05 blue/red , ACS(ac switch) B06 not used B07 CLSW(switched ground for M/T) ; ATNP(park neutral indicator , a/t only) B08 brown/red , PSW(power steering pressure sensor switch) B09 white/blue , STS(main relay) B10 yellow/blue , VSS(speed sensor) B11 CYLP(cylinder sensor) B12 CYLM(cylinder sensor) B13 TDCP(top dead center sensor) B14 TDCM(top dead center sensor) B15 CRNKP(crank position sensor) B16 CRNKM(crank position sensor) D01 not used D02 green/white , BKSW(brake pedal switch) D03 LABEL(laf sensor , Z1 engine only) D04 brown , SCS(service check connector) D05 not used D06 orange/blue , VTM(vtec oil pressure switch , for D16Z1 and D16Z6 engines) D07 light blue , TXD/RXD(data link connector) D08 VS+(laf sensor , Z1 engine only) D09 white/yellow or pink , ACGF(alternator) D10 green/red , EL(eld unit) D11 not used D12 white/black , EGRL(egr valve lift sensor, for D15Z1 only) D13 red/white , TW(tw sensor , tied into data link connector) D14 orange/black , heated O2 sensor(for B7 , Z6 , Z1((IP+ also)), engines) ; O2(non heated , for B8) D15 red/yellow , TA(ta sensor , tied into data link connector) D16 orange/black , IP-,VS-(laf sensor) D17 not used D18 pink/green , SIL(shift up indicator , m/t) , white/red (interlock control unit , a/t) D19 VCC1(map sensor) D20 VCC2(egr valve) D21 SG1(map sensor) D22 SG2(connected to all engine sensors for data link connector) like i said im really not finished this yet , im making one for all the cars , few things ill update. mountaindewguy
awesome sounds great. will i run into any plugging issues with the civic harness or will everything plug in right? that is being the head is obd2 and so is the block, thanks!
cranny
i would say yes although im not 100% positive. like i mentioned before , obd2 and obd1 cars are different entirely. if you were using all obd1 parts , engine and head as well , youd have no problems. since your using obd2 head and block , it will have obd2 sensors. the sensors most likely are 95% the same. but lets for example say the 2 map sensor wires leaving the ecu are blue and red(examples) , well in an obd1 car , the blue and red wires are going to the map sensor. but in an obd2 car , it could be the blue and white wire for the map sensor , and they could leave the ecu from a different location. so at the sensor plug end of the wires(once P28 is plugged in), the blue and red one in obd2 could be going to somin other than the map sensor. you see what im getting at? your best bet is when unplugging all your wiring harness under the hood when taking engine out , label them all. lets get to obd2 ecu maps , make this easier. theres 4 sockets in obd1 and 2 ecu's but one is for autos only , in obd1 , its C plug. in obd2 , its B plug. all 96-98 models except D16B5 , 99-00 D16Y5 w/ manual tranny OBD2a(ecu pin) , Function , Color , (Notes) A01 , Injector 4 , Yellow A02 , Injector 3 , Blue A03 , Injector 2 , Red A04 , Injector 1 , Brown A05 , SO2SHTC , black/white A06 , PO2SHTC , Orange/black A07 , D16Y5 with m/t-pink(E-EGR) ; CVT-red(esol) A08 , VTS , green/yellow , (D16Y5 , D16Y8) A09 , LG1 , brown/black A10 , PG1 , Black A11 , IGP1 , Yellow/Black A12 , IACV , black/blue , (D16Y5 , D16Y8 w/.
