TLontheDL
It is possible to do it yourself but if your not a professional or have not done it before, I wouldn't recommend it. Most likely, if its your 1st time doing it it will prob crack again. Heck if you bring it to a pro to get it fixed, it will eventually crack again so your best bet is to get it fix, ride on it until you get new wheels, and sell it. It will look like its never been cracked so the next person who buys it will have to deal with it.
1010tires.com
A temporary fix is possible, but not really recommended. Your wheel doesn't have its original strength and could lead to further problems. You could fix the air leak, but there is a good chance that the wheel will crack more and leak again. In an extreme case the wheel could even crack in two causing more damage than just a broken wheel. If you decided to try to fix it anyway, you would still have to keep a close eye on the tire air pressure. Intead of taking the risk and having to constantly worry about it, you should look into replacing the wheel.
