autochiapet
I heard that your not suppose to change springs yourself because they can shoot out and kill you....? I am getting Eibach Pro-Kit Springs for my EG6 and I wanted to know if I could do one wheel at a time with a car jack or if I need a shop with a lift to do it or what. ..SSR..
Jack it up, remove struts, compress springs using a spring compressor, take springs off, reperat in reverse to install.
autochiapet
I dont have a spring compressor :( Unless they dont cost much then I will probably have a shop put them in. Also I'd probably need to realign the wheels too Ive heard.
..SSR..
It will cost less for a spring compressor than the bill you'll get from a shop. An alignment won't help, it's camber that hurts.

TLontheDL
autozone lets you rent spring compressors. i need to get my springs installed but i dont want to mess with it b/c i dont want to risk not knowing how to do it and mess up. shops are charging me 2 bills to install my springs b/c the rears are a bit difficult to take out. you have to take out the whole back seat to get to the rear struts
