airjordan223 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Take it to autozone and they do a test for free
cmgogo Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 autozone sucks donkey balls. The 3 times I have taken batteries, or alternators down there they have been completly wrong on the status of the part I have brought them. Hook up your multimeter and see what voltage you are getting, with the car running you should be getting around 14.1v.
Raley Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Disconnect battery, if the car stays running, its good.
Hia Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Disconnect battery, if the car stays running, its good. Pleas tell disconnect neg or positive cable? Will this damage the engine? Thanks for reply!
