OldSchool007
There is a secret to the shifter bushings unless they finally changed the design on them. Bushings came today, what's this secret that you speak of?
OldSchool007
too late.. all mine.. after i look at mine this weekend at least My bushings came in today. They look pretty nice...then again, anything looks better than the rotting remnants of what were the original bushings on the car.
OldSchool007
It's taken me longer to post an update than it probably should have, but this car has turned into more of a project than it was represented when I bought it. To date the following has been done to it: Majority of bushing replaced SS brake lines and brake system flush Cooling system flush New clutch and flywheel Short Shifter Power Steering Flush New front speakers to replace blown factory speakers New Battery Still needs to be done: Replace seal around windshield to fix leak Water leak in trunk needs to be resolved Replace battery tray and brace that is almost crumbling from rot New suspension...current suspension is pretty much shot New Exhaust...current exhaust from where the header meets the cat is pretty much a solid rustcycle. Full tune-up....gas mileage and power are both way down from where they should be Brake job...front and rear calipers will probably have to be rebuilt at the same time On a positive note, with the exception of a few small areas of surface rust in the engine bay on body, the rust is pretty much contained to the bolt-on components but the unibody and underside are pretty clean.
