drewkuch
How do i set the stock timing on my 1.5 liter engine? I need the crank gear and cam gear positions. The engine is just sitting and looking at me, begging to go in the car, haha.....Thanks a bunch to whomever can help me out!

drewkuch
My belt is off. I need to set this timing before the light i'm assuming. Crank key up, pointer at notch, at tdc. Cam shaft gear "up". Correct? Anyone?
HoNdAanswerMaN
I'm not exactly sure on the 1.5L but I think it's like the 1.6L the cam gears should say up on them and there will be dots on the sides of the gear these dots will be set flush with the top of the head and then place your crank gear dot at the arrow on the block just make sure #1 cylinder is at top dead center and not 180 degrees off!! Good Luck
