ctroger24 Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 Hey all, I just purchased a 1997 Honda Civic EX coupe. I bought it with 212000 miles and a blown headgasket. Rather than replacing the head gasket and getting the head resurfaced, etc on a 212k engine I am thinking of just going non-vtec for now. I can get a non-vtec engine with 30k for $300. This seems like my best option right now. What will I need to change in order for this to work? If I am understanding right all I need is a non-vtec ecu. Thanks in advance!
