Repsol Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Okay, I sold my rims to a chick on Sol Society for $450. Well i looked up a quote on shipping for DHL and it was cheap so I go to see where the local DHL is. Well, it's not local, it's a f*cking hour drive away, So I go to UPS, and they charge f*cking $96 to ship 2 wheels. I give her a tracking number and she says she's getting frustrated because she's waited 2 weeks. She's practically getting the wheels for $250 so she can suck a f*cking egg.
sup Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Should have included the price of shipping into the sale price beforehand.
wannaBstuntin Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 i would've driven the 2 hours......that's like 1/4 tank.....$10 in gas
Xeryon Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 most of the shipping companies will do a pickup from your house for a small fee. I know UPS pickup fee is like $3 a package. The closest drop spot for me is 30 miles away. The pickup fee is a way better option.
compuvision02 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I would have made the drive as well. But everything I sell is also shipped at the buyers expense.
compuvision02 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Example for next time: 1. $450 +shipping 2. $650 shipped 3. $450, will ship if shipping is cheap enough.
