Really bored right now so I'm making a thread of what I want to do to the car

 

I am going to keep the mods simple because I need this car to last without any major problems

I got a 10 year warenty on her so I def am keeping that too

 

Alright lets cut the crap and get to the list

The things in red are maybe's

 

Interior:

- Mugen Shift Knob

- Comptech Short Throw

 

Exterior:

- De-badge all except JDM Type-S badge

- A-spec front lip

or

- Greddy front lip

- JDM DC5 Wheels

- Tint 20% all around

- Paint Calipers Red

 

Engine:

-Injen CAI

or

- AEM V2 Intake

- Fujitsu Power Getter exhaust

 

Suspension:

- A-spec Suspension kit

 

I'll cross off the things I have completed as I go along

 

I hope to have the tint and intake by x-mas

 

Any suggestions or other recomendations?

id say a new set of rims. i need them.

 

i like yours, but if your going to add a lip and stuff and lower it i think you should. i mean if you keep the stockers itll still look good.

 

 

very minimal engine mods, which is smart since the warranty. you should still turbo though :D hows the difference b/w your srt4 and the rsx?

i like the stock wheels

i mightt powercoat them, just not sure what color

 

as much as i want to dump all my money into this car, im not going to

it takes a lot to make em fast and im more concerned with other things right now (school, work, GF)

 

The SRT was rediculously fast but the built quality was lacking

My RSX got 38mpg last tank and I think with some grippier tires would be faster then my SRT in the twisties

So overall I like it better, I just miss the power of the SRT

orange and red clash dude....didn't the girl ever tell you that?

 

A-spec suspension is an OEM upgrade, but that's the best quality, and the car is lower by like 1.5"

Its better than rust

maybe ill do black, they need to be painted though

easy , go get a new set , sand them with rough grit paper until you get the rough texture out of the metal. than step by step , use finer grit paper. go 120 , 220 , 400 , 600 , than polish them with whatever polish tickles your fancy with a buffer. than when your satisfied with the finish , silicone wash them , get rid of all oils might be on them , and clear coat them with a few good coats. pow polished brake calipers.
