SolLesHonda
Thanks man. I was reading around on it, because some people around my way were telling me I was wrong. I knew most dyno's were different, just wanted to be assured in print. Oh, and sexy wanted to know about it too ... we were talking about it last week. Attaus
Quick Q -- They never really went into detail, but.. was the temperature about the same?
SolLesHonda
Yeah .. I would assume. The point is to be completely exact with the differences, just that the differences do exist.
mountaindewguy
ohh i knew there's alot of differences, but i thought the main differences were between mustang dyno's and regular dynojets. but damn dude, thats shocking.
sohcVTEC-E
Wow. It was funny, at first I thought SolLes was asking what WHP was. I was like ummm wtf??? But that is really weird.
Attaus
Oddly enough, I just saw the spec sheet for the "Fastest Prelude in the World" (10.9) where they included the dyno type. http://www.cardomain.com/features/oaksracing
xxscaxx
every dyno reads differently. many arent that accurate, like mustang dynos read exceptionally low, while dynojets tend to read higher.
SexyH22
yeah we were talking about this.... it really doesnt prove much, altitidue, temp, gas used, among many other things take affect. how hot the car is, so many things can make that much of a difference, other than just dynos. also ther are corrected vs. uncorrected numbers. dont mean to be a negatvie nancy, bit i dont thinkk that means much. DJB98LX
WOW! Great post! I knew that PC based Dynos that you just plug to the OBD2 weren't accurate at all, and envirnmentals made a big difference, but would have thought those would be a little closer in #s!! BTW- My PC based says I got 220 WHP!! Don't I wish, but it was free, and they told me that it was only 5-10% correct, but the sensor reading and datalogging is dead on!
