Merry Christmas From Supraforums.com

I pulled this off Socal supras. Enjoy.

T'was the night before Christmas and caught at the light,

was a Turbocharged Supra and no cops in sight.

I will try, I will try, I will try with this small motor,

to beat this darn Supra, even with its big turbo!

As the light goes green and I try to pull like no joke,

the Supra erupts in clouds of tire smoke.

Now Smasher, now Rev-ver, now Stroker, now Blitzin,

these are the names of my four VTEC pistons!

Racing ahead I'm the star of the action,

but I know I'm in trouble when that monster gets traction.

Grabbing second I hear RPM sing,

my mirror is blocked by my shopping cart wing.

I now hear the roar of that boosted monster gaining,

all I can do is keep that four banger straining.

In a second the shockwave hits with a blast,

and my stickers go flying now, a thing of the past.

Don't bother with third, cause now its too late,

just try to act cool, like I can relate.

Looking up at the taillights as they get smaller,

the driver backs off just to give me a holler,

"you can't win them all," he says in a fling,

"you can't win any in that silly thing."

I smiled and reved as he pulled out of sight,

with my new mods tomorrow...it will be a better night.

:ninja: if the ninja face could squint...he'd be squinting his lil asian eyes at you right now. NINJA KILL DEV!!!!

i would say that 3000gt's, supra's, rx7's, and a few other cars (300zx tt?) would all fall in the same category. they can all be made REALLY fast and they can all be made to handle REALLY well. however, skylines are the badasses of them all...too bad they have such a high sticker price on em :glare:

I agree Lancer should be in there too.

Oh and just for the record, the stock TT 300zx's are slow. Also the RX-7's are really cool but have major issues with engines overheating. Very inconsistant on the track. I saw a BPUed RX-7 run a 13.2 one run and then the next tim,e around run a 15.3. The engine just got so hot it didn't perform as it should have.

Turbo cars are easy to upgrade and make fast. Period.

3KGT's are nice... but what year is it that the Camry LEV6 was quicker than the 3k? The NAs are boats, and the VR4s are even heavier. They'll eat your lunch for 60ft but thats about it, factory atleast. Now you can strap a t88 to anything and q0wn if you ahve the $$, w00t

in a 1/4 mile race, those first 60' feet are pretty important.

and I hope everyone knows that the reason the VR4s are so heavy is mostly due to their AWD. they could be RWD and be lighter, but then they wouldn't be as sweet.

What makes the 3000GT's so great? As far as performance goes, the eclipse is a much better performer dollar for dollar. Figuring it that way it would be better than a supra also.....what is up with Supra's going for 40k+ now? That's just crazy, they cost that much new.

I always thought they were cool until i drove one. Than I didn't understand what was so great about them. Yeah, it would get up and go but it was nothing great. They are heavy and have a bunch of worthless features that the average person would never use (active aero?, electronic exhaust?).
