vettekillr
Hey guys, I just bought a 92 prelude and the stock speakers are all shot! so I want to upgrade by putting a full system in the car. I want to put (2) 10" subs and replace all (6) stock speakers. I need suggestions on which speakers to get to replace the stocks. I dont even know what size they are! As far as the subs I was thinking about getting some alpine type R' but dont know what model # to get thers a 1022 & 1024 whats the difference? what about amps? I was thinking about sticking with the alpine name since I have an alpine head unit. So I guess I want to build an entire alpine system but I need help! thank's in advance Richard. CleanGSR
Do you want bass for sound quality or for how loud it can be? Boston are #1 in my book for sound quality. Eclipse are great for high DB.

airjordan223
crutchfield is good to see what is available and what fits your car, but once you find what you want, buy from somewhere else. i have infinity for speakers, very clear sound, but the bass isnt much, but that is why you have subs.
