Anybody succesfully converted their hood to a flip hood "opening from the fron tlike a corvette"? If so please help me. I tried last night and ran into some problems. I have a 2000 Civic

Don't convert it period. Looks wise, it's ugly IMO, and working under the hood is a pain in the ass!! Find an old Buick with it, and try working on it before putting one on your car, you won't want to!!

My suggestion would be to reverse the hinges and the latch to opposite sides. You'll probably have to do some welding and make some brackets to get it to work, but you should be able to just do some minor metal work to fab it up.
