taco
Newbie here with hopefully a stupid question. If I replace the original radio with aftermarket will it still allow the use of the in steering wheel controls? 1999 Accord EX. Thanks for any help. SexyH22
pretty sure that you lose those controls when using an aftermarket stereo. best way to go, if you dont have a cd player is to get a CD changer or see if you can buy a factory CD player from the dealership. TLontheDL
it wont work but it is possible. I kept the stock head unit in the cl but installed an amp and some subs but I used an adaptor to keep the steering wheel control. .

Xeryon
Some car stereos have optional control modules that allow wheel controls to still work. Check out crutchfield, only place I buy electronice from anymore, I know they had modules so my wheel controls on my 97 g.cherokee would still work.
