Original Radio Replacement - (newbie)

pretty sure that you lose those controls when using an aftermarket stereo. best way to go, if you dont have a cd player is to get a CD changer or see if you can buy a factory CD player from the dealership.

Some car stereos have optional control modules that allow wheel controls to still work. Check out crutchfield, only place I buy electronice from anymore, I know they had modules so my wheel controls on my 97 g.cherokee would still work.

Newbie here with hopefully a stupid question. If I replace the original radio with aftermarket will it still allow the use of the in steering wheel controls? 1999 Accord EX.

Definitely you can use the steering wheel controls with aftermarket unit ,i am using that right now perfectly.
