I tried to put some aftermarket xenon bulbs in my headlight, and a few min after I put them in they started to smoke. So what is my problem? I did not touch the bulb and they are brand new. Do you think I need a adapter or something. Another thing I am trying to do is, to get that bright white look like the acuras have. What tpe of bulbs can I get besides the hid's. What tpe of bulbs can I get besides the hid's. probably got the wrong bulb, most places that sells bulbs have a book or little computer thingy that tells you what bulbs your car takes. no matter what the package says no bulb will ever look like real HID's. some can be blue in color, some can be a bright white, but none of them will give off the full effect of hid's.
