Speed420
I was just wondering how a person got the del sol roof off? Do you take it off manually or is it all motorized?
CRG7
there are two latches inside the vehicle... you push the button over towards the handle, and lower the handle on each side. then you lift the roof off, put it into the area designated for it in the trunk, and lock it in place using the locks provided. OR, there's the japanese del sol transtop assembly which automatically takes the roof off for lazy people who don't mind the added weight of the assembly. also it costs around $3,000 before installation costs (unless you install it yourself obviously). h22adelslo
or you can forget to snap your latches when you used to smoke weed, and then hit a bump going 60. That gets it off too, but I've only heard. weed sucks
optional187
that should teach you not to smoke weed. a friend of mine just lost his sunroof off his 240sx. he had it unbolted for some reason so it was just sitting in his roof unattached, on his way to work it flew up came down with a smash. mrefish
I think there were some roofs on ebay if anyone is looking for a spare, or replacement. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...2471817376&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...ssPageName=WDVW http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...ssPageName=WDVW my roof looks like it was used as a sled on cement, has some scratches and fades. BuddySol
As I said in some post from ages ago, I'd get a spare just to do some Fast and the Furious stunts on a desert stretch of highway hehehe
optional187
it'd probably end up backfiring on you and slam down on your trunk... i'd be your cameraman.
