im new to all this car stuff but i would like to go with a b16a

1.) where can i find it for cheap

2.) would it be better to build little by little? if so why?

the engine is getting old with high mileage so im trying to build it back up!

if ur looking for cheap part use ebay i personly dnt like d series but tht me id go b18 nd boost non vtec i see b18b1s n heavier cars nd bet egs with gsrs i trust n the b series its cheaper to bulid one then ud think check into it

douche hawkin, learn to write... i can only read about half that.

 

as for motor swap, a b16 is a good motor, what are you wanting out of the car, whats currently done to it, what are you abilities, and what is your budget?

Do these people not have keyboards with 26 letters? Maybe they are poor and had to put half the keys on layaway?

 

Throwing a number out there, buying a b16 and all the various parts to do a full swap runs around 2-2500 or so if you turn every nut yourself and buy the parts new from top notch retailers. You could buy a motor locally off craigslist or such, but beware of thieves, or buy from a shadier distributor, or buy a cheaper engine, or join a local club or message board and buy from another enthusiast. So many options.
