operator4
I have a 92 honda accord 2 door. I use it to drive back and forth to work. It has about 240k on it and when i got it i changed the oil regularly and i dont think the previous owner did. So my problem is when driving it has a tapping/knock the only time its real noticable is when your just "cruising" not accel or decel just holding speed its at its loudest. to me it sounds like its coming from the top end but i could be wrong. I was thinking just a adjustment on the valvetrain might do it but since its only when your cruising and not accelerating or decelerating thats what has me wondering what the deal is. Anybody with some ideas please chime in thanks
Raley
Its either that or rod knock... But a tick is usually loose valves.
93d3ls0l
yeah start off with the valves, it easy enough to pull the valve cover. and then worst case its your rods/bearings then you can decide what to do from there
