BermudezFrankie Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 I purchased a mint 93' Honda Civic LX for $100.00 last winter because of a bad head gasket, planning on swaping the engine for something I can modify. It's also an automatic. Any suggestions on engine types, or should I just drive it for what its worth...after its only an automatic. Thought about a conversion kit. Any opinions would be much appreciated. Hollar!!!
TLontheDL Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 you can go to a local junk yard and purchase a used prelude engine instead of buying a new engine. with the money you save, you can swap out your auto tranny for a manual one
..SSR.. Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 If you're not going to race competitively, just drive it for what it is, an economy car.

CivicSam Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 Hey, I know this post is nearly a month old, I was curious what you did. Did you get a new or used engine or leave it?
