Xeryon Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 being your base hp is sub 100 you are starting from an extremely low end to start with. i can't say anything about difficulty in tuning as I have never seen someone do anything with one. before you sink a lot of time and money into working with that a20 I would fully explore swapping in a different motor. A few of the late 80's early 90's B's or F series engines might be inexpensive swaps that would net you 20-40hp increases without modifying the engine. some of the old skool b20's might be right up your ally if you can find one. the best choices would require a FI conversion, but a prelude si motor of this vintage topped out at 160hp. would really bring life to the old 88. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_B20A_engine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
