Bravesball20 Posted December 18, 2009 Share Posted December 18, 2009 Ok so my car has burnt out 3 spark plugs in 2 months. I took it to oreilly autoparts to check the computer. I have a cylinder 2 misfire, manifold absolute pressure sensor failure and engine input failure. My tailpipe smells like it's been burning and the car stutters but still runs and moves just annoyingly. I was driving home and I saw my aunt, uncle and cousins packing up their truck for their trip to Mexico so I decided to stop. When i was leaving I opened my car door and the beeping sound to tell me that the lights were on turned on for some reason and so did the clicking noise from when you turn on your turn signal. I started the car and all my electronics and dashboard lights were turning on and off with the clicking sound. Anyone ever had this happen or know what I could do to fix it? No idea on that, but the MAP sensor would cause most other things you mentioned. I bad or missing MAP sensor will make the run like complete sh*t.
