4tika4
Just bought me a 1991 CRX HF with a b20b swap. The muffler that came on the car is disgusting. Its so annoying and it rattles like crazy. So when I start accelerating it sounds like a horse inside a tin can. I need to replace it. Any recommendations? I would go back to stock, but I think the exhaust tubing is a bit bigger than stock. I want something fairly quiet
alex37211
You could get a stock muffler from a junk yard off of a car with a more powerful engine (for better flow) like an rsx or something. But I'm not sure if it will fit under a rex. Dont those go sideways or some crazy siht? If you don't mind a grumbly, obviously louder than stock, sound, magnaflow makes a good product for cheap. crxtacy
Is the muffler itself rattling or the noise coming from underneath? If it just the muffler, than just replace the muffler assy. If its under the car its probably the heat shield rattling.
CRG7
Dont those go sideways or some crazy siht? There's a couple of bends, so the muffler ends up on the left side of the car rather than the right.
Repsol
I say, turbo it, and get an invidia catback. I've heard a B20T with Invidia, sounds amazing.
