CleanGSR
The illumina's would be perfect for a 1-1.5" drop. I have no experience with the Tein's, but have illumina's and love them. Pair up the Tokico Illumina's with a set of Tein S-Tech Springs and you would have a very nice, comfy, moderately dropped, good handling, etc.... ride. sleepers rule
so whats wrong with the springs that come with the illuminas, are they crap?i seen a set that i like but its a full coilover.is it better to swap springs?
CleanGSR
Don't know....I didn't realize you were talking about the illumina coilovers.....don't know much about them. It's the same shock that I have which I really like, but don't know about their springs or full setup. If I remember correctly, the ones I've seen are not height adjustable. If that's the case I'd go with the Tein's.
sleepers rule
i double checked them out they're 5 way ajustable 0.5"-3".i just wanted to know if they"re springs are any good, also they"re cheaper then teins.
CleanGSR
Don't know from experience, but Tokico makes great products and the Illumina shocks have a great reputation. I'd personally easily trust the setup from them. I'd almost garuntee that their springs are matched to their shocks well for a good ride/handling combo. EH6TunerDaniel
Im rockin tokico springs on the del Sol and they are nice. Ride good and handle decent. TS_John had the springs and shocks on his sol before, Im sure he can attest to the combo.
Joe W
Agreed with all above, I have the HP shocks(blues) and couldn't be happier, well unless I had the illuminas with ground control sleeves. Like someone above...
