88prelude
without changing the head or anything major and is it already set up for FI or would you have to run wires...can i just pull it all from the junkyard and bolt it straight up
AccordHEART
Pretty sure you can, You would need all the necessary parts for it. Intake Manifold, Injectors, fuel rail, wiring, new computer, throttle body....etc.
88prelude
how easy is it
GUESSMAN
how easy is it it's not that easy. you are going to need to change out almost all of the wiring. I think the only harness's that you get to keep is the roof harness and on yeah, the trunk harness. Pretty much everythings else has to change. I'm in the process of doing the change over but got held up due to lack of funds. I've seen all kinds of write ups on different fourms. You will also have to run a return line to the fuel tank too. Hatch92
carb and FI motors don't share the same heads. the blocks could be the same but they have different heads.

philyphreak2127
I would just swap the motor if I were you. go with an h22. for sure. you get the fuel injection and more power its a win win.
Hatch92
fuel injected motors make more power than carbed. and before anyone says it this was made on a stock vs. stock not built

Kegger
Good range would be about a 15% increase in overall power.
