lilSikSoL Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 i kno your all probably sick of me talk en about cars i find and interested in... it sucks being picky. and not wanting to sell the jeep but trade it in. but i found an other that i am going to check out. it is a 95 ex coupe, the generation that made me fall in love with hondas clicky whats you guys think? looks clean and miles are deff a plus..get it pull out the weak d16 and go LS swap...i like egs but somthing about a single inside them is just not rite...lol
coolcat467 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I'd say go for it. That one looks really clean and low mileage. As an owner of the same car, I love it. Go for it. You will love it too.
EH6TunerDaniel Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Something about buying a car from a place with sack and cuchi in the name is funny.
Kastigir Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 The 5th gen hatches made me fall in love with Civics also. Their reliability and dependability made me fall in love with everything Honda.
coolcat467 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Something about buying a car from a place with sack and cuchi in the name is funny. Lol +1 The car looks really clean though.
xer0 Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 i just don't like the color:-p besides honda cancer any thing i should look out for on a eg's? Go for it. You will love it too. i had a 93 that i got in a car accident with :( i loved that lil car wish i never sold it but at the time i need a car and couldn't work on her to fix her. major regrets.
coolcat467 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 besides honda cancer any thing i should look out for on a eg's? Technically, it's an ej1. Yea, make sure the sweet-ass cupholders work. I guess I haven't really seen any rust on any of the civics like that around here.
xer0 Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 i live in newengland... harsh winters = salt on the roads .... salt fracks up the read quarters on 5th gens like a fat kid eating an acura cake
coolcat467 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 i live in newengland... harsh winters = salt on the roads .... salt fracks up the read quarters on 5th gens like a fat kid eating an acura cake Good point.
CleanGSR Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I don't like the color. Also, if you're getting a 2 door, then get a 5th gen hatch instead.
airjordan223 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 looks good, but im not a fan of the color either
rhdekhatch Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 its nice. my friend is selling his sol that runs 11s.
xer0 Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 don't want a built car... takes away the fun or building and learing
coolcat467 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 It's a good deal. Screw the fact that it's a gay color. That can be changed.
CleanGSR Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Yeah, because that's where he wants to spend his first $3000 (assuming he wants it to look nice). Screw settling for less than what you want...you'll regret it down the road.
coolcat467 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Never looked at it that way. I guess we just have 2 different opinions on how to spend money on this car.
CleanGSR Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Apparently. I just look at it as...it's a lot easier to take out a loan and get the car you want than to save up $3,000 to get the car the way you want while paying on a loan too. I guess it would depend on whether he can afford to repaint it after he buys it.
coolcat467 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Yea and I don't know about up there in New England but in Nebraska here it is hard to find a civic that clean and with that low of miles. I would jump right on it but yeah I can see what you are saying.
xer0 Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 hard to find a clean one that is low and a good price... ppl want like 5 k for 5th gen civic around here. and most of the time they get Honda cancer
airjordan223 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Screw settling for less than what you want...you'll regret it down the road. :stupid: if you really want a sol, just keep looking a little longer. i mean, i found mine at a lawnmower shop under a tree. check out some junkyards, sometimes you'll get lucky and have one with front end damage or something where you just need to get a new bumper.
xer0 Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 i ges i will keep the jeep a lil longer then
airjordan223 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 whats your price range? and does it have to be from a dealer?
xer0 Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 need to be form a dealer so i can trade in my jeep...
