civicwagovan Posted March 9, 2003 Share Posted March 9, 2003 yes for as much as i know some lx's and ex model came stock with that motor im not sure what ypu meant by i/h/e injection /header / exhaust maybee? any way the d16 motor is the same as the d15 with multi-port fuel injection and a longer stroke which is 1.6litre the d15 is a 1.5litre usually with dual-point fuel injection Hopefully i answerd some of your question Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
S14Silvia Posted March 9, 2003 Share Posted March 9, 2003 i/h/e = intake/header/exhaust so the motors already been swapped? as a lx has a 1.5 liter dual point, and yes all d15's in the 88-91 civics and crx's had dual point injection. as for suggestions, internals, headwork and a turbo. nosaj81_2000 Posted March 9, 2003 Author Share Posted March 9, 2003 yeah im going for power and speed. right now i know i could probably get a new i/h/e for around $100 u.s. for eanch one. only because of where i work at in my off duty time. and yeas the motors have already been swapped. i also had thought about turboing the motor but i was wondering has anyone ever put supercharger on one before?
