S14Silvia Posted February 9, 2003 Share Posted February 9, 2003 this is for the 91 civic lx correct? if so then you need engine mounts to get the b16 in correctly. performance parts, ctr pistons & rings, stock rods should be fine, ctr cams, ctr intake manifold, jdm 4-1 header, 70 mm throttle body, type-r valvesprings & retainers. thats basically the jdm list of stuff, if you want more performance, then go with endyne rollerwave pistons, eagle rods, jun/crower/skunk2 stage 2/3 cams or toda spec c cams, jg edelbrock victor x intake manifold or skunk 2 intake manifold, kamikazi 4-1 header, spoon 70 mm throttle body, skunk2/jun/crower/toda valvetrain. you can do head work and bore the cylinders out to accomodate .25 oversized stock pistons or you can bump it up to a 1.8L and use the endyne pistons.
