BuddySol
...just a quick question, sorry I didn't bother searching. But I don't think I've seen an answer on any other boards about something like this. I was thinking, if the D16Y8 head is the reason for the +2 HP in the engine, then would it be possible to stick the Y8 head on a D16Z6 and see that +2 HP. Prolly not the greatest bang for the buck, but ehh just a thought.

optional187
yeah you can. a friend of mine did it to his z6. its not worth it in my opinion...and the only reason the Y8 has 2 more hp than the Z6 is because its compresion ratio was up'd a tad. BuddySol
Yah...I was just reading some stuff, and saw that the only difference between the Y8 and the Z6 was the head. Well, I guess it's good to know that I can pull 2 extra horsepower if I ever wanted to...I guess. Seeing as it's not a real popular thing to do, I guess it's not really worth it.
