ObieTrice
I was going to paint them black so I could save money for performance rather than a paint job. Will it look okay?
Backyardbombr
dont use spray paint you idiot .... either use good scratch resistant paint .... or better yet powder coat eastwood sells kits where you can put the powder coat on and cure it in your oven. it works nicley if you do it right. my brother did 15" rims in the over ... just make sure its an old over you dont cook in

To the original poster - if you prep the wheels correctly automotive spray can paint will hold up fine. On my old del sol I painted the stock wheels black w/ polished lip and cleared them doing this method and they looked great (ask any veteran member here) and they held up great. They've been painted on the car for a year and a half now and still look great. The most important part of a good paint job lasting is the prep. Make sure you sand them well and spray quite a few light coats. Put plenty of clear to help protect them and you'll be fine.
