HappyHardcore
I just bought a 2000 civic sir. The day after I bought it, I gave it a really detailed wash, where I noticed some rust build up or something. Anyway on the left rear side above the tire there is a little patch of rust like freckles about the size of pin marks. Is this normal? And Please, suggestions of what I should do. Thanks
Guest that1chrisguy
I'd take it back, and ask them to detail it and see for themselves that it could have been damaged when you bought it
HappyHardcore
The only problem is that the dealership is about 600 km away. Is there any way that I can make sure its rust? I would really rather avoid bringing it back. Its a gold certified car too, so much for that crape. Shouldn't honda cover it? Thanks.
optional187
i know that the paint on the roof's of 5th gen civics oxidizes...gets all messed up lookin after awhile, and supposedly honda will cover half the cost of them to re-spray it. don't know about rust though...call em up and ask em. dd_biggy
definitely call and check up on it... i'm not sure what it is, but at any rate you should make sure that it won't be an expense to you for their stupidity.
Drew
Is there another dealer closer by or are you really that far from the nearest dealer? If there is another, you should be able to take it there. Definitely return in though...
