DelSolSweetie Posted July 20, 2010 Share Posted July 20, 2010 You sound like a 16 year old... reasons are below 330,000 miles on it stock engineim real hard on it, i almost redline every gear like everyday i play with it a lil to see if its fixed so i drive it at over 100mph pop the clutch in 4th gear to start it again now if i said my finger hurts.. whats wrong with it to a doctor over the phone how would he know what was wrong? Shanebot90 Posted July 20, 2010 Share Posted July 20, 2010 BTW to OP. If you still want advice on the CRX. If you're looking to mod it, your best bet is a first gen integra swap. That's the D16A1, it's actually a dual cam setup, but it's still a D series. Again, this engine predates VTEC, so don't expect that in this motor. It comes from the factory at 112 hp or 118 hp depending if you get a brown or black top. The D16A1 pretty much bolts up perfectly into our chassis. The stock wiring harness can be used, and the aftermarket for the integra motor is MUCH better and much more widely available. You can probably pick one of these engines up for really cheap (~$300) from a junk yard. This is the route I'm going, that's for sure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When your car is not set up to respond at high speeds you will just lose control and go off the road or into another car. Not every car is automatically set up for high speed handling.
